Mahatma Gandhi University Off-Campus Academic Centre, Dubai was established by Universal Empire Institute of Technology in the year 2001. The centre which is immensely valued by the Emirates Community for High Quality Education, trains the students not only in Academics but also in Social Activities that give them a competitive edge in today's multicultural work atmosphere.

The Centre has 'THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE' as its VISION and its MISSION is to lend a hand to the student community in the Pursuit of Excellence and make them better - equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow, by providing cost-effective Quality Higher Education.

GOAL:- The MGU Off-Campus Centre aims at the all- round development of the students by providing the training needed to make them responsible, disciplined compassionate self- reliant and well- founded individuals capable of transforming the Society.

The Mahatma Gandhi University Off-Campus Academic Centre, Dubai International academic City is the only Indian Government University Institution, operating from the TECOM Free Zone, since the year 2003. Currently the Centre offers various Undergraduate and Post Graduate Courses of the Parent University in India (MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY). The Off Campus Academic programme of the University is based on the Scheme and syllabi prescribed for the regular courses of the university. The Students who pass a particular course of study will be awarded the same Degree Certificate issued to the students of the Parent University in India. The students have the option to continue their studies in India by way of Centre Transfer on getting necessary approval from the Parent University. This gives the students flexibility in pursuing the same course of study during an Academic year (August-June) through an affiliated College of the Parent University in India or at the University Teaching Departments. The process of University Examination is directly controlled by the Consul-Education attached to the office of the Consul General of India in Dubai ,UAE.

The Centre was shifted in 2003 to the Knowledge Village and in August 2008 to the panoramic ACADEMIC CITY is an exclusive Higher Education and Training hub of reputed Universities across the world.
