About Mahathma Gandhi University

The Mahathma Gandhi University in India was started on 2nd of October 1983. The University is Accredited by the National Assesment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also a member of Association of Commonwealth Universitites and MBA programme is approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). It enrolls 1.50.000 students on an average every year, to its 250 courses in Graduate, Post Graduate, M.Phi and Ph.d. Programs through 21 University Departments. University departments have commenced collaborative effort with many foreign universities. the mission of the University in establishing Off-Campus centres in the gulf region is to impart Higher education for the expatriate Indian Community as well as foreigners at affordable fees.
